Deborah graduated with honors from the University of St. Thomas, Houston, Texas, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology.
Ms. Olson graduated from Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, Texas with a Master of Arts degree in Clinical Psychology. Her Master’s Thesis was on Attachment and Fear of Intimacy in Romantic Relationships.
Deborah has been in private practice in the Greater Houston area for more than a decade. She has also served as Adjunct Professor at Lone Star College and taught courses in Psychology and Child Growth and Development. She continues as a guest Lecturer in Psychology classes at Lone Star on topics related to Women’s emotional health.
Ms. Olson is a Women’s Emotional Health specialist and has received post-degree advanced Certification from the following:

PREVIOUSLY:
Prior to going into private practice, Deborah’s first career was in nursing. She was a Registered Nurse, specializing in obstetrics and gynecology, labor and delivery, newborn nursery, and high risk OB.
She has taught classes in newborn care, breast feeding, birth control and postpartum health.
PERSONAL:
Ms. Olson has been married for over 30 years and is a mother to 4 adult children.
Her favorite leisure activities are spending time at the ocean, shelling, boating, traveling, scrapbooking, golfing, writing, and being with her family.
